Terry Tyldesley speaking on a panel about the music industry at Co-operative Congress

New date – Scale-UP talk in Manchester 22/11

‘Back to Live.. Back to Reality?’ is the title of the thought-provoking event I’ll be speaking at in Manchester on Tuesday 22 November at the iconic venue Band on the Wall.

The panel is part of the Scale-UP Sessions curated by by Malcolm Garrett and Kasper de Graaf of Design Manchester, for BIPC Greater Manchester, and is aimed at people building creative businesses.

Moderated by John Robb of Louder Than War / Louder Than Words, fellow guests are Gavin Sharp CEO of Band on the Wall, Fiona McGarva of Sundae Communications and Lost Horizon, and Simon Scott of Cirkay and Push Entertainment.

We’ll be discussing the post-pandemic re-emergence of the live and on-demand music industry, the changing climate for musicians, and the threats and opportunities presented by the ever-advancing digital world, including artificial intelligence techniques in sound recording, performance in virtual spaces, personalised fan products and direct creator-to-fan relationships.

Tickets are free, but please register, and there’s more info at Design Manchester.
