I was delighted to be asked to host the main stage, and also be a panellist, at Beyond The Music 2024, Manchester’s innovative event at Aviva Studios, now in its second year.
Beyond The Music is a global forum and live music festival, bringing together tech, AV, gaming, brands, and more to build a creative alliance for the future and also to produce innovative models. In order to do this with meaningful effect, Beyond The Music is set up as a co-operative.
As well as introducing panels and guests on the first day of the conference, I took part in the AI Summit on the second day. I was a panellist on the panel ‘Artificial Intransigence: Where’s Our AI Copyright Law?’ with representatives from CISAC, PRS for Music, IFPI, LifeScore Music, and superbly moderated by Laura Harper of Lewis Silkin.
Beyond The Music was an inspiring few days of ideas, conversations, and live music. Many thanks to the team there.
