Terry Tyldesley speaking on a panel about the music industry at Co-operative Congress

I am a music and tech consultant, creative technologies producer, and musician, who works with artists, entrepreneurs and organisations.

I founded Kitmonsters inclusive music and tech site, am a former Chair of ethical music streaming co-operative Resonate, and served on the Music Tech Fest / MTF Labs Advisory Board.

A tutor for two years on the JUMP EU Music Market Accelerator, I also lecture in music tech and innovation, and speak at conferences internationally.

Currently I’m organising the first ever Co-op Hackathon, for Co-operatives UK, to boost collaborative and ethical tech. I also produced the WITCiH Digital Festival featuring Laurie Anderson, produced and curated Music Tech Fest in Berlin, and produced the Volo VR thrill ride at Fantastic Feats festival in London.

My music as Kat Five, and with my band Feral Five, features on BBC Radio 6, Radio X, in film and in sound installations, and I get interviewed about using AI.

Previously a film-maker at the BBC, I received an RTS Award and BAFTA nomination. Multi-lingual, I worked internationally, with interviewees ranging from political leaders to rock stars, and I also set up the BBC’s first programme website.
